FMV VALVE AUTOMATION

Industrial Check Valves for Reliable Flow Protection

Engineered check valve solutions designed to help prevent reverse flow and support reliable operation across industrial piping and process systems.

CHECK VALVES

Reliable Protection Against Reverse Flow

Check valves are designed to permit fluid flow in one direction while helping prevent unwanted reverse flow through a piping system.

FMV Valve Automation offers a range of check valve configurations for different industrial service requirements and installation conditions.

Our current range includes Dual Plate, Forged Steel, Pressure Seal and Swing Type Check Valves, providing options for a variety of industrial applications.

WHY CHECK VALVES

Designed for Reliable Non-Return Service

Check valves are an important part of many piping systems where controlling the direction of flow and reducing reverse-flow risks are required.

01

Reverse Flow Protection

Designed to help prevent unwanted flow reversal within piping and process systems.

02

Automatic Operation

Check valves operate based on flow conditions without requiring routine manual operation.

03

Multiple Designs

Different check valve configurations allow selection according to system requirements.

04

Industrial Applications

Suitable for process, utility and industrial fluid handling systems.

05

Flow Direction Control

Supports one-directional flow requirements in industrial piping arrangements.

06

Application Flexibility

Multiple configurations provide flexibility for different installation and service conditions.

HOW CHECK VALVES WORK

Simple Flow Direction Control

A check valve responds to the pressure and flow conditions within the piping system. When flow moves in the intended direction, the valve opens.

When flow attempts to reverse, the closing mechanism moves toward the closed position, helping restrict reverse flow.

01
Forward Flow Process flow moves in the intended direction.
02
Valve Opens Flow conditions allow the check mechanism to move to the open position.
03
Flow Reversal Reverse flow causes the closing mechanism to move toward shut-off.
04
Reverse Flow Restricted The valve helps prevent unwanted reverse flow through the system.

VALVE SELECTION

Choose the Right Check Valve for Your System

Check Valve Type Select between dual plate, forged steel, pressure seal and swing type configurations.
Flow Direction Define the required flow direction and system operating arrangement.
Process Media Consider the fluid, chemical compatibility and operating environment.
Pressure & Temperature Select the valve according to actual operating pressure and temperature conditions.
Installation Consider available space, pipeline arrangement and installation orientation.
Service Requirement Define the process duty and required reverse-flow protection performance.
FAQ

Check Valve Frequently Asked Questions

What is a check valve?

A check valve is a valve designed to permit flow in one direction while helping prevent reverse flow through a piping system.

What is the main purpose of a check valve?
